At Taylored Pickleball Academy, our charity tournaments combine the best of both worlds— competitive play and community impact. They’re a great way to sharpen your game while giving back, with proceeds supporting meaningful local causes.

All our tournaments host a Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles divisions. The Men's & Women's divisions happen on the Saturday, while the Mixed Division wraps up the weekend on Sunday. All Divisions have 2 brackets for teams to choose from: Challenge (for the more competitive) & Rally (for those new to the tournament environment). Each division starts with pool play and then transitions to a single-elimination flight until a winner is determined. Scoring and grouping is all determined by the number of teams registered for each Division (Men's / Women's / Mixed) and Bracket (Challenge/Rally). Every team is guaranteed 4 games.

Starting in 2026, players can choose to register recreationally (Rally Bracket) or competitively (Challenge Bracket) for each Division, making these events perfect for every type of team. Challenge - You'll feel at home here if: You have league or tournament experience You’re comfortable with faster-paced rallies You understand strategy and positioning You enjoy competitive intensity and close matches You love testing your game and competing hard (while keeping it fun and respectful). Rally - This is likely your fit if: You’re building confidence in match play You’re working on consistency and strategy You enjoy structured competition without high pressure You value fun rallies and community connection You love the game, the experience, and improving along the way. Everyone from competitive newcomers to seasoned players—just register in the appropriate division and bracket. Starting in 2026, players can choose to register recreationally (Rally Bracket) or competitively (Challenge Bracket) for each Division, making these events perfect for every type of team.

New for 2026, you will register as a team, not as individuals. If you are an individual looking for a partner, you can join our ‘I need a partner’ list by emailing us (colleen@tayloredpickleballacademy.ca) with your name, tournament, division and bracket. Once another individual registers for the same, we will connect you by email.

100%. TPA tournaments are a great first step into competition! We recommend you register for the 'Rally Bracket' to ensure you get the best experience your first time on the courts in a tournament setting.
