Taylored Pickleball Academy is hosting a great day of pickleball clinics for Pickleball Moncton members and non-members (additional $15 guest pass fee for non-members per session) on Mon April 29th. These sessions will focus on specific pickleball topics and strategies geared towards beginners to intermediate plus skill levelled players.

PM: Drill & Play - 3rd Shots
April 29th 1:45pm - 3:15pm Skill: Intermediate The 3rd shot -drive or drop - is one of the most important shots to master in pickleball. This clinic will focus on improving the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understanding the strategy around how and why it’s so important. You’ll be put through a series of drills & drill-based games meant to help you improve your performance when attempting this difficult but strategically important shot.

April 29th 3:30pm -5pm Skill: Intermediate Do you struggle with playing against players known as ‘Bangers’? This 1.5-hour clinic lesson is designed specifically for you. We will focus on certain skills such as volleys, controlling the pace of the ball and returning the serve along with other smart strategies and techniques to help you learn how to take back control of the court. You’ll learn how to out smart and out maneuver your opponents, regardless of their power game.

April 29th 5:15pm - 6:45pm Skill: Advanced Hitting the ball where, when and how you want is crucial to taking that next step to becoming a more advanced player. Whether it's avoiding a dominate forehand, targeting a weaker player or hitting the ball to an open space on the court. Recognizing the opportunity is one thing, executing is another. In this 1.5 hour clinic we’ll work on the skills and strategies to get you starting to execute a game that is played with purpose.

April 29th 7pm-8:30pm Skill: Advanced Beginner The non-volley zone (NVZ), commonly referred to as the kitchen, is a critical area on the pickleball court that requires finesse, strategy, and quick reflexes. Learning to play the NVZ line effectively can significantly enhance your game and take you to the next level. This session will focus on building your confidence, control, and consistency with the play at or near the NVZ through drill based learning and mini game play action.
