About the event
Taylored Pickleball Academy is hosting 2 great days of Pickleball Clinics at the Sarnia Riding Club on Friday May 24th and Saturday May 25th. The sessions offered on this day with TPA Level 2 Instructor, Scott Mikalachki will focus on advanced beginner to intermediate skill levels. You must be a member of the Sarnia Riding Club to register.

Fri May 24 3pm - 4:30pm All skill level - Register as a group of 3 (price is for all 3) This 1.5-hour session is a playing and training session. You and 2 friends will be on the court with a TPA pro and will be put into game play and play-like scenarios where we can work on strategy, techniques and discuss decisions and options. This is a great opportunity for you and 2 of your friends to play with and against the pro to understand areas for improvement in a welcoming and fun environment.

Want to gain confidence in your skills before playing a game? This 1.5 hour session is designed for advanced beginners who are looking for an additional opportunity to work on their skills and confidence before entering open gameplay. We will have specific goals and targets that will challenge you to do more than just get the ball over the net!

May 25th 10:45am - 12:15pm Skill: Intermediate Do you struggle with playing against players known as ‘Bangers’? This 1.5-hour clinic lesson is designed specifically for you. We will focus on certain skills such as volleys, controlling the pace of the ball and returning the serve along with other smart strategies and techniques to help you learn how to take back control of the court. You’ll learn how to out smart and out maneuver your opponents, regardless of their power game.

May 25th 12:30-2pm Skill: Intermediate The 3rd shot -drive or drop - is one of the most important shots to master in pickleball. This clinic will focus on improving the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understanding the strategy around how and why it’s so important. You’ll be put through a series of drills & drill-based games meant to help you improve your performance when attempting this difficult but strategically important shot. Final 20 minutes will be spent in game play
