About the event

Taylored Pickleball Academy is hosting a one-day Pickleball Clinic in Stratford, Ontario on Sat Feb 3, 2024 from 10am - 4:30pm. The sessions offered on this day with TPA Founder, Head Coach and TPA Level 2 Instructor, Cameron Taylor will focus on beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate skill levels. 

As always, the TPA team will keep you having fun while elevating your game!

  • PFH - Learn 2 Play - 10am

    Sat Feb 3rd 10 - 11:30am Experience – None Our 1.5 hour introduction to pickleball which is a great way to learn the basics of this amazing game in a fun, friendly environment. We’ll cover off all the basic fundamentals such as grip, proper stroke techniques, court positioning, simple rules and the serve and return. You’ll end with mini-game play to put all you’ve learned into action. This is just the beginning and you’ll be keen to take our Advanced Beginner Skill & Strategy training next.

    Feb 3: 11:45 - 1:15pm Skill: Advanced Beginner (2.5-2.75) Participated in our introduction to pickleball class and ready for more? Want to gain confidence in your skills before playing a game? This 1.5 hour session is designed for advanced beginners who are looking for an additional opportunity to work on their skills and confidence before entering open gameplay. We will have specific goals and targets that will challenge you to do more than just get the ball over the net!

  • PFH: Drill & Play 3rd Shots

    Feb 3: 1:30-3pm Skill: Intermediate (3-3.75 rating) This clinic will focus on improving the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understanding the strategy around how and why it’s so important. You’ll be put through a series of drills & drill-based games meant to help you improve your performance when attempting this difficult but strategically important shot. Final 20 minutes will be spent in game play action helping you to put this new skill to winning success.

  • PFH: Doubles Strategy - Int.

    Feb 3: 3-4:30pm Experience – Intermediate (3-3.75 rating) This clinic is ideal for intermediate players who want to become great doubles partners! We recommend you register with a partner but it’s not required. By focusing on drills that require each partner to perform their role, you’ll learn the importance of patience, positioning, & synchronization with your partner. Effective communication and understanding your role with each position on the court will be covered ending with games
