About the event
Team Shan in partnership with Taylored Pickleball Academy is hosting its 1st annual fun pickleball tournament on September 28 & 29th, 2024 to help raise awareness and funds for their great charity. This Clinic Day is for those looking to learn the sport or would like to elevate their skills before the tournament starts on the weekend. It is a day for pickleball players of all skill levels and we can't wait to see what you learn out on the court during the weekend!

Kitchen Confidence Clinic
Fri. Sept. 27th, 1 - 2:30 pm Skill Level: Advanced Beginner This session will focus on building your confidence, control, and consistency with the play at or near the Non-Volley Zone (aka Kitchen) through drill-based learning and mini-game play action. This clinic is a great way to gain confidence to play in the Team Shan Pickleball Tournament (Tournament registration is in addition to clinic registration).

Fri. Sept. 27th, 2:45 - 4:15 pm Skill: Intermediate Do you struggle with playing against players known as ‘Bangers’? This 1.5-hour clinic lesson is designed specifically for you. We will focus on certain skills such as volleys, controlling the pace of the ball and returning the serve along with other smart strategies and techniques to help you learn how to take back control of the court. You’ll learn how to outsmart and outmaneuver your opponents, regardless of their power game.

Fri. Sept. 27th, 4:30 - 6 pm Skill: Intermediate This clinic is geared towards the intermediate skill level player who is looking to work with a TPA coach to improve the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understand the strategy around how and why it's important. Through drills, drill-based games, and gameplay environments this clinic will have you tuned up and ready for tournament play. (Tournament registration is in addition to clinic registration).
