Cameron Taylor

Cameron Taylor is the driving force behind player and coach development at Taylored Pickleball Academy and one of the key figures helping shape the future of pickleball in Canada.

As Co-Founder of TPA, Cameron has spent more than 12 years developing players, coaches and innovative training programs. An NCCP Level 3 Certified Teaching & Coaching Professional and Master Facilitator for the Canadian Pickleball Coaching Program, he has accumulated more than 8,000 hours of on-court coaching experience and has helped thousands of players take their game to the next level.

Cameron is also a Co-Founder of the Canadian National Pickleball League (CNPL), helping create new opportunities for Canada's top players to compete, develop and pursue the sport at a professional level. His commitment to growing the game extends beyond individual coaching—he is passionate about developing the next generation of players and coaches and raising the standard of pickleball instruction across the country.

A multiple national and provincial champion himself, Cameron brings a unique combination of high-level playing experience, technical knowledge and an ability to translate complex concepts into practical strategies that players can immediately apply on the court.

At TPA, Cameron leads the development of the academy's coaching philosophy, curriculum, player development programs and high-performance training. He also plays a key role in shaping TPA's Campcations and international pickleball experiences, bringing the same focus on quality coaching and meaningful player experiences to every destination.

What sets Cameron apart is his approach to coaching. He believes great coaching is about more than teaching technique—it is about understanding the individual player, building confidence, developing better decision-making and helping people discover what they are capable of.

From developing recreational players into confident competitors to helping coaches become better educators, Cameron's mission is simple: develop people, grow the game and make every player better than they were when they stepped on the court.
