Len Goodhand

Len Goodhand brings a lifetime of sport, competition and coaching experience to Taylored Pickleball Academy. With a background spanning hockey, soccer, tennis and pickleball, Len understands what it takes to develop strong athletes—and how movement, strategy, decision-making and mindset come together to create better players.

As an NCCP Level 2 instructor and active competitive player, Len brings both coaching expertise and current competitive experience to the court. He understands the adjustments, pressure and decision-making that come with tournament play, and he knows how to turn those experiences into practical lessons players can take straight into their own games.

Len's coaching style is knowledgeable, approachable and encouraging. He has a knack for helping players see the game differently—recognizing patterns, making smarter decisions and understanding when and why to use different shots and strategies.

And while Len takes improvement seriously, he never takes himself too seriously.

He believes players learn best when they're challenged, supported and having a good time. Whether he's working with newer players building their foundation or experienced players looking to take their game further, Len brings energy, experience and plenty of personality to every session.

For Len, one of the best parts of coaching is watching a player take something they've learned, put it into a game and suddenly realize, “I can actually do this.”
