Taylored Pickleball Academy is back in Fergus Ontario on Saturday September 28, 2024 for a day of pickleball clinics! The sessions offered will focus on specific pickleball topics and strategies geared towards beginner to intermediate skill levelled players.Â

Learn 2 Play
Sept 28/ 10am-11:30am Skill – None / Beginner Our 1.5 hour introduction to pickleball is a great way to learn the basics of this amazing game in a fun, friendly environment. We’ll cover off all the basic fundamentals such as grip, proper stroke techniques, court positioning, simple rules and the serve and return. You’ll end with mini-game play to put all you’ve learned into action. This is just the beginning and you’ll be keen to take Advanced Beginner Skill & Strategy Training lesson next.

Sept 28 / 11:45am-1:15pm Skill: Advanced Beginners Do you struggle with playing against players known as ‘Bangers’? This 1.5-hour clinic lesson is designed specifically for you. We will focus on certain skills such as volleys, controlling the pace of the ball and returning the serve along with other smart strategies and techniques to help you learn how to take back control of the court. You’ll learn how to out smart and out maneuver your opponents, regardless of their power game.

Sept 28 / 1:30pm - 3pm Skill: Intermediate The 3rd shot -drive or drop - is one of the most important shots to master in pickleball. This clinic will focus on improving the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understanding the strategy around how and why it’s so important. You’ll be put through a series of drills & drill-based games meant to help you improve your performance when attempting this difficult but strategically important shot.
