About the event
Taylored Pickleball Academy in partnership with Charlottetown Pickleball Club is hosting 2 great days of Pickleball Clinics in Charlottetown, PEI (April 7) and Cornwall, PEI (April 8) ! The sessions offered will focus on specific pickleball topics and strategies geared towards beginner to advanced skill levelled players.
As always, the TPA team will keep you engaged and having fun while elevating your skills on the court!

CPC: Kitchen Confidence Adv. B
April 7: 9am-10:30am / Skill: Advanced Beginner The non-volley zone, commonly referred to as the kitchen, is a critical area on the pickleball court that requires finesse, strategy, and quick reflexes. Learning to play the NVZ line effectively can significantly enhance your game and take you to the next level. This focus on building your confidence, control, and consistency with the play at or near the NVZ through drill based learning and mini game play action.

April 7: 10:45 - 12:15pm / Skill: Intermediate Do you struggle with playing against players known as ‘Bangers’? This 1.5-hour clinic lesson is designed specifically for you. We will focus on certain skills such as volleys, controlling the pace of the ball and returning the serve along with other smart strategies and techniques to help you learn how to take back control of the court. You’ll learn how to out smart and out maneuver your opponents, regardless of their power game.

April 7: 12:30-2pm Skill Level: Advanced In this 1.5 hour clinic lesson you will learn how to confidently move on the court as you defend, attack and gain control of the game. Our TPA instructors will focus on three major movements - defending the lob, protecting the middle and transitioning to the NVZ - that every pickleball player must master in order to elevate their game.

April 7: 2:15pm - 3:45pm Skill: Intermediate The 3rd shot -drive or drop - is one of the most important shots to master in pickleball. This clinic will focus on improving the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understanding the strategy around how and why it’s so important. You’ll be put through a series of drills & drill-based games meant to help you improve your performance when attempting this difficult but strategically important shot.

April 8: 10:15am - 11:45am Max 3 participants - Price is for all 3 This 1.5-hour session is a playing and training session. You and 2 friends will be on the court with a TPA pro and will be put into game play and play-like scenarios where we can work on strategy, techniques and discuss decisions and options. This is a great opportunity for you and 2 of your friends to play with and against the pro to understand areas for improvement in a welcoming and fun environment.

April 8: 2pm - 4pm Skill: Advanced This session is for players that are looking to make the jump to 4.0 and beyond. We ensure you start with the proper mechanics and strategies of every major shot. Players will learn how to recognize opponent weaknesses and create winning opportunities in addition to learning the importance of hitting consistent, quality shots with purpose. This program is ideal for advanced players with a solid grasp of the basics & can manage complex drills.
