About the event
Duntroon Highlands Golf Club in partnership with the Taylored Pickleball Academy is hosting a one-day Pickleball Clinic on Saturday June 15th. The sessions offered on this day will focus on certain topics and strategies geared towards the beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate & skill levels. As always, the TPA team will keep you having fun while elevating your skills on the court!

Duntroon: Learn 2 Play
June 15 / 9:00 - 10:30 am / Skill: Beginners Join our qualified and certified TPA instructors in our 1.5 hour introduction to pickleball which is a great way to learn the basics of this amazing game in a fun, friendly environment. We’ll cover off all the basic fundamentals such as grip, proper stroke techniques, court positioning, simple rules and the serve and return. You’ll end with mini-game play to put all you’ve learned into action. All equipment is provided.

June 15: 10:45am-12:15pm / Skill: Advanced Beginner Do you struggle with playing against players known as ‘Bangers’? This 1.5-hour clinic lesson is designed specifically for you. We will focus on certain skills such as volleys, controlling the pace of the ball and returning the serve along with other smart strategies and techniques to help you learn how to take back control of the court. You’ll learn how to out smart and out maneuver your opponents, regardless of their power game.

June 15: 12:30pm - 2pm / Skill: Intermediate Ideal for intermediate players who want to become great doubles partners on the court! We recommend you register with a partner but it’s not required. By focusing on drills that require each partner to perform their role, you’ll learn the importance of patience, positioning, and synchronization with your partner. Effective communication and understanding your role with each position on the court will also be covered ending with mentored game play.
