Liberia Airport:
Northwest coast and about a 3-hour drive from the Arenal/La Fortuna area
Direct flights from Toronto land mid-afternoon; direct flights from Calgary arrive around 6 am/7 am; direct flights from Montreal arrive late afternoon
The arrival time means clients can get transferred to Tilajari the same day they arrive in Costa Rica, with no pre and post nights at an airport hotel
Served by Air Canada, Westjet, Transat and Porter
San Jose Airport:
More central and technically closer, with a 2.5-hour drive
Flights from Toronto and Montreal arrive late at night and depart early in the morning, meaning you have to add 2 nights to the trip as you will require (1) pre and (1) post night hotel stay

For our USA and International guests, please connect with Liz and Jen to see what works best for you, as the biggest factor is your arrival time into the airport. Ideally we want to avoid you having to come in a day early for a pre night at a hotel before transferring to Tilajari, unless you are extending your trip!

Leading the vision behind each experience is our Founder and Trips Development Lead, Cameron Taylor, whose passion for player development and elevated travel experiences ensures every detail — on and off the court — is thoughtfully designed.
Our talented TPA coaching team, alongside our partnered CNPL professionals from the Canadian National Pickleball League, bring elite-level insight in a way that’s approachable, practical, and fun. Set in the heart of northern Costa Rica’s lush landscape, Tilajari Eco Resort is a vibrant, nature-immersed retreat where comfort meets adventure. Surrounded by tropical gardens, scenic river views, and rich biodiversity, the resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and activity. With beautifully maintained grounds, exceptional dining, and expansive athletic facilities, Tilajari creates an energizing yet peaceful setting for an unforgettable TPA trip experience.
Accommodations:
Our group will be staying in the spacious Junior Suites – 2 Queen Beds, with 18 rooms reserved based on double occupancy.
Each suite guarantees two queen beds and comfortably accommodates two to four guests, perfect for sharing with a friend! Designed with both style and function in mind, these elegant rooms feature a private balcony or terrace with stunning views, air conditioning, ceiling fan, Wi-Fi, TV, coffee maker, mini refrigerator, in-room safe, closet space, and a hot-water shower.
It’s the perfect home base to relax, recharge, and wake up ready for another incredible day on and off the courts.
